At request of ONAS and of the World Bank, IME organized in Tunis, on May 22nd, 2017, a workshop on the Public Private Partnership in the sector of sanitation. This workshop aimed to make sensitive the Tunisian civil society in the various components of this partnership.
Two national experiences, that of France presented by Mr Jean-Luc Marion of the Metropole Aix-Marseille Provence (MAMP) and Morocco by Mrs Smahane Jamouli of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking water (ONEE), gave a perspective on the approach and the implementation of the PPP in their country.
Various types of PPP with tracks to be followed to select the model of management adapted to the needs for the public entity were presented by Mr Diogo Faria de Oliveira, international expert loaded the PPP in the field of water and of sanitation with UNECE.
Mrs Delphine Clavreul of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, (OECD) brought a global vision with the commitment of the stakeholders for an inclusive water governance.
